Emigrating to the US after World War II. Samuel spent a few years as a residential real estate developer before entering the healthcare real estate space. In 1964, Mr. Klurman started Washington Holding Corporation, the predecessor to Ganot, to develop hospitals, nursing homes and related assets. Under Mr. Klurman’s vision, the company became a national leader in nursing home construction and development and has over time focused on senior living properties and related investments.
